TDB Tioman Resort has reimagined the island stay — trading creaky wood for cool industrial-chic containers, and spotty signal for high-speed WiFi 6. Located in the heart of Kampung Genting, the resort is purpose-built to cater to both divers and non-divers with modern amenities and practical features for a seamless Tioman Island experience.
The resort features 13 Deluxe Quad Rooms and 3 Dorm Rooms (8 beds each), all designed with clean, contemporary interiors. Every Deluxe Room comes equipped with two queen beds, cold air conditioning, a private ensuite bathroom with hot shower, hairdryer, in-room kettle, and premium linens — comforts you wouldn't normally expect on a remote island.

In accordance with the Government of Malaysia regulations, a Tourism Tax of RM 10 per room per night will be charged to all foreign guests and must be paid upon check-in.

Your Journey
Drive to Mersing or Tanjung Gemuk
From Kuala Lumpur (approx. 4–5 hours) or Johor Bahru (approx. 3 hours), head to Mersing Harbour Centre or Tanjung Gemuk ferry terminal.
Ferry to Kampung Genting
Board the ferry to Kampung Genting jetty. Make sure you get off at the right stop — look for the TDB sign! Ferries operate March–October.
Walk to the Resort
TDB Tioman Resort is a short walk from the main jetty. Easy to find and our team will be ready to welcome you.
Tioman Airport (TOD)
Berjaya Air operates flights from Subang (KL). Transfer to Kg Genting by sea taxi.
