Reservation Terms & Conditions

Please carefully read and agree to the following terms and conditions. Attach the booking fee and provide complete information to secure your spot and room reservation.

Booking Fee: RM 300 per person / per course. This fee is non-refundable but transferable and is valid for one year from the date of payment.
Package Exclusions: Package prices do not include Marine Park fees or public holidays in Singapore and Malaysia. Please purchase your ferry tickets separately.
Balance Payment: Must be settled at least 7 days before arrival.
Changes & Cancellations: Any changes or cancellations to dates or rooms must be notified at least 2 weeks in advance. Otherwise, the booking fee will be used to cover hotel penalties.
Room Occupancy: If the number of occupants does not correspond to the designated room capacity, additional charges in the form of an empty slot fee will apply.
Health Declaration: Please notify us if you are: (A) 45 years old and above, or (B) under 45 but have had any physical or mental health issues within the past year. A PADI Health Declaration form with a doctor's signature and stamp is required. Failure to provide this document may result in refusal to participate in the course.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking at least 30 days before the start date of the PADI course or package, you will not be charged any additional fees.

We require a cancellation request to be submitted by emailing us at [email protected].

Once the cancellation request is received, a refund will be initiated. We advise submitting a cancellation request at least 30 days before the scheduled start date to ensure a smooth process.

Changes to bookings and cancellations will not be permitted once payment has been confirmed, except under the circumstances outlined above. Cancellations due to a change of mind will not be accepted.

Refund Policy

Non-Refundable Bookings

All bookings are non-refundable except in the following cases:

Wrong Arrival Date: If you mistakenly booked the wrong arrival date.
Fully Booked Days: If you did not see our notice indicating which days are fully booked.
Cancellation 7 Days Before: If you cancel at least 7 days before the start date of the course or package.
Service Cancellation by Us: If we have to cancel the service due to unforeseen circumstances.

Eligibility & Amount

Refunds will only be considered for bookings made directly through tiomandivebuddy.com or any TDB customer service channel.

For bookings made through our website, only 90% of the total amount will be refunded, with a 10% fee deducted.

Refund Request Requirements

The request must be made within 7 days of the scheduled start date.
Proof of booking (booking confirmation and payment receipt) must be provided.

Refund Process

Your refund will be issued once we have reviewed and approved your request. A 10% fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

Online Bank Transfer: Refunds will be credited to your bank account, typically within 3–5 working days.
Credit Card: Refunds will be processed back to the card-issuing bank.

We reserve the right to reject any refund requests that are deemed unfit or unreasonable.

Fun Dive Package Price Adjustment Policy

Fun Dive package prices may be subject to change if there is an increase in the price of RON95 fuel.

Deposits & Price Changes: If a deposit has been made but the scheduled Fun Dive date coincides with a RON95 fuel price increase, the package price will be adjusted accordingly. The balance payment will reflect the new, higher rate.
Full Payment: For customers who have made full payment prior to any RON95 price increase, the original package price will be honoured, and no additional charges will apply.

This policy ensures customers are informed of potential price adjustments due to fluctuations in fuel costs.

General Terms & Conditions

The content of these terms and conditions may be changed, moved, or deleted at any time. Tioman Dive Buddy reserves the right to change contents without prior notice. Any violation of these terms will result in immediate action against the offender(s).

Site Contents & Copyrights

Unless otherwise noted, all materials — including images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, video clips, and written materials — that appear on this site are copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, and/or other intellectual properties owned, controlled, or licensed by Tioman Dive Buddy (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Comments & Feedback

All comments and feedback should be directed to [email protected]. Users agree that no comment submitted will violate any rights of any third party. Content that is unlawful, abusive, or obscene will not be tolerated. Users are solely responsible for their comments.

Product Information

We cannot guarantee all products will appear exactly as shown on your monitor, as display may vary depending on your screen settings.

Newsletters

Users agree that Tioman Dive Buddy may send newsletters regarding news, products, and promotions via email.

Indemnification

Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold tiomandivebuddy.com harmless from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses — including attorneys' fees — arising from or related to use of the site.

Links to Other Sites

Access to third-party sites is at your own risk. Tioman Dive Buddy will not be related to or involved with any third-party website if the user's content or products are damaged or lost through such connection.

Inaccuracy of Information

From time to time, information on tiomandivebuddy.com may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, or availability. We reserve the right to correct errors and edit information without prior notice.

Termination

This agreement is effective unless and until terminated by the customer or Tioman Dive Buddy. Customers may terminate at any time. Tioman Dive Buddy may also terminate this agreement without prior notice and deny access to customers who are unable to comply with these terms.

Items in stock: 2–5 working days for Standard Delivery.
Out of stock items: Please email or call us for assistance.

Payments

All goods purchased are subject to a one-time payment. Payment can be made through various methods including Visa, MasterCard, or online payment methods.

Payment cards (credit or debit) are subject to validation checks and authorisation by your card issuer. If we do not receive the required authorisation, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order.
